RTS are a specialist tree surgeon team led by experienced Arborist Dan Mullally, based in Renfrewshire and the West of Scotland. We are a friendly, professional and passionate team that pride ourselves on delivering a high quality service. No job is too big or too small. Tree sustainability
At Renfrewshire Tree Surgeons we understand the positive impact healthy trees have on the planet's CO2 balance and will only advise on the removal or trimming of a tree or shrubbery if absolutely necessary. We also recommend the replanting / replacing of trees where / when possible. Monitoring tree health and protecting our trees, woods and forests from pests and diseases is also an increasingly important part of sustainable tree management. This means identifying specific pests and diseases to tackle any obvious problems. Once we know what’s affecting your trees, we can advise on what action to take.
We believe in sustainability and re-planting of trees, and fully support the Woodland Trust.
We support Biomass - But what is it?
All the wood chip that we generate at Renfrewshire Tree Surgeons goes to Biomass. Biomass is a renewable energy source, generated from burning wood, plants and other organic matter, such as manure or household waste. It releases carbon dioxide when burned, but considerably less than fossil fuels. Biomass heating systems burn wood pellets, chips or logs to provide warmth in a single room or to power central heating and hot water boilers. For more information check out the Energy Saving Trust.
Where do we operate?
We mainly cover Renfrewshire and Glasgow / West of Scotland but will travel wider if you need us. Being local, we regularly service the villages of Kilmacolm, Bridge of Weir, Houston and Brookfield as well as further afield to Howwood and Lochwinnoch- along the Clyde from Bishopton to Erskine, Langbank, Port Glasgow and Greenock and to Paisley, Renfrew and Inchinnan.
